Who am i?
Hello, I'm Steve Hopton. Many people may not be aware that there's a significant market for static caravans in Europe. While in the UK, we often value caravans based on their year of manufacture, in Europe, their condition holds more importance. In Poland and the Czech Republic, we have a base for caravans manufactured in 2006 and older, while in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Spain, we have a showroom for newer models.
We provide inflated prices to secure quality caravan stock, and we're dedicated to ensuring that each caravan ends up in the optimal location to maximize its resale value. This concept allows us to offer our customers higher payouts.
My journey into the caravan sector traces back to my days distributing floor coverings. These were often imported from the Netherlands and transported by road to major retail outlets. That's where I started over 20 years ago. Caravans came into the picture primarily to solve the logistical challenge of finding return loads for the transportation network involved in importing flooring. Over time, I got to know the world of static caravans. What began as a solution to a logistical puzzle has evolved into a passion. Today, I'm not just someone who buys caravans; I bring with me a wealth of knowledge from my years in the floor covering industry. Both of these fields drive my commitment and expertise.
